Recyclable Materials

Flying Pigs Curbside Recycling will accept all of the following materials:

Plastic

• Clean plastic containers with the recycling symbol 1 – 7
• Liquid detergent, fabric softner and shampoo bottles, plastic clamshell trays, yogurt and margarine containers.
• Plastic bags and plastic wrap (must be bagged together)

All Non-Mobius Loop Plastic

#6 Styrofoam (EPS)

Clean, white packing foam only

Mixed Paper/Newspaper/Office Paper/Shredded Paper/Magazines/Phonebooks

• Newspapers and paper inserts
• Catalogues and magazines
• Paper (e.g. letters, envelopes, greeting cards, brochures, non-foil gift wrap, paper bags)
• Telephone books and paperback books
• Shredded paper (must be bagged)

Cardboard (must be broken down and flattened)

Glass

• Clean jars and bottles

Tin/metal

• Clean metal food cans, Metal lids and caps
• Clean aluminum foil, aluminum plates and containers

Fluorescent Lights and Ballast

eWaste

• Televisions
• Computers, Monitors, Laptops
• Computer Accessories (i.e. printers, scanners, fax machines)
• Stereo Equipment
• VCRs / DVD Players
• Telephones & Fax Equipment
• Cell Phones / Pagers
• Kitchen appliances (Toasters, microwaves, coffee makers etc)
• All chargers, cabels, adapters, powerbars etc.

Rechargable/Non-Rechargable Batteries

• Household and electronic equipment batteries. (AA, AAA and so on, laptop, cellphone, powertool batteries etc.)

Used Oil and Glycol (Antifreeze)

• Used Motor oil

• antifreeze (glycol)
